" We met Brian in March 2004 and contracted him to build our home in Powhatan, VA.  At that time, we were in the process of selling our home in Massachusetts, retiring, having Brian build our home, and relocating to an area of Virginia that was relatively new to us.  “Stress” was our common mode of operation.

To further complicate our lives, we didn’t close on our home in Mass. Until the end of June – so for months we were dependant on Brian for pictures and phone calls for status updates……and this was during the “building boom” when it would have been very easy for him to legitimately say he’s too busy.  However, Brian took it all in stride and never complained about being outside of contractual obligation, he just did it.  Since that time, we have come to appreciate his tenacity in client satisfaction and uniqueness in this regard.

To say we’re happy with our home would be an understatement.  Brian builds an excellent home for the price and that’s not only my opinion – as a condition of closing we contracted a home inspector whose final assessment was “Brian builds on hell of a house for the money”.  After being in the home for more than 6 years, we agree.

Since that time we’ve come to appreciate Brian’s open and honest business.. dealing, his thoroughness in getting the job done correctly and his sense of.. humor.  He works hard at ensuring client satisfaction and is confident.. enough. in his work that he doesn’t mind asking former clients for letters of.. recommendation – and we are happy to oblige!!"

" I first became acquainted with Brian and Walls Contracting Company in 2000.
